ONSITE: Bring your BC Bubble

We are excited to be able to offer weekend stays at our beautiful waterfront location. The pandemic has been tough but this is an opportunity because of COVID – normally we would be booked for in person programs but not this year! So come and enjoy the Haven on Gabriola Island and see for yourself why generations come back year over year. Secure your own adventure at this special rate.

Weekend Stay – starting at $109 per night for a 2-night minimum stay, based on double occupancy, availability, provincial guidelines and subject to PHO guidelines regarding travel.

We invite you to safely bring your bubble to a relaxing weekend getaway at the Haven and above all be calm, be kind and be patient.

Located on beautiful Gabriola Island, the Haven is situated on 7 oceanfront acres. Join us, and hike on the many trails or explore the beaches. Unwind, listen to waves, recharge your “bubble” batteries and reconnect with nature.

Bring your kayak, bring your bike, bring your hiking shoes, nature here is abundant!  Practicing island safety – take an afternoon stroll around the Village for shopping and restaurants.

Beginning the weekend of May 28 and continuing each weekend until June 28.

Dinner

We are pleased to partner with GroundUp Cafe and Catering.

Best known for their “pop-up cafe” at the Saturday Agricultural Association Farmer’s Market, they also provide private catering for weddings, parties and concessions for various community events.

Ground Up is the result of 4 friends wanting to embrace these things that we love, and share them in a way that supports our values and our local economy. GroundUp Cafe & Catering consists of two families living on Gabriola Island with over 60 years combined foodservice experience. They are passionate about enjoyable food with a focus on sourcing locally from island farmers and producers.

Hot Tub

Soak in the hot tub (yes, only in your bubble!). The hot tub is available by appointment only, so please email info@haven.ca in advance or book with the receptionist when you arrive. Please note hot tub hours are Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday from noon to 8:00 pm.

The Haven Store

The Haven store showcases crafts from our local artists, clothing, cards, jewelry, gift items, and books, which will be open for your browsing pleasure. The store is following all safety protocols.

Bodywork

Take advantage of one of our bodywork practitioners during your stay; Kelly Price, Certified Yoga Therapist, and Suzanne Partridge, Certified Reflexologist, two of the Haven’s much-loved service providers, are offering a limited number of bodywork sessions on some of the weekends. For more information or to reserve your spot please email info@haven.ca.
