Let’s face it, even though you love this person they can still drive you crazy.

Living together as a family (of babies, pets or taking care of loved ones) is challenging.  Add Covid, remote learning, stay-at-home orders and the challenges have gotten even harder.

Boundaries are not easy territory to navigate, and yet, being able to define what you need, want, will do and won’t do, is critical to a healthy relationship.

Equally critical, is being able to listen and hear what your loved one wants without feeling trapped or like you have to change.

In part 2 of The Beauty of Conflict, we will be diving deeply into how to be ME in a We; how to have what we call  boundary-ing conversations; and how to talk about areas where you want one thing and your partner wants something very different.

  • How to parent
  • Where to live
  • What to eat or who cooks, cleans, takes out the dog
  • When to have people over or when you prefer more solitude at home
  • How spaces are kept – neat or messy

The list could go on…  All these issues have an impact on the quality of your health and the health of the relationship.

Often what can seem like smaller issues or differences can be harder to navigate than the BIG ones.  It can be challenging to not lose yourself and/or your passion in and effort to keep the marriage or the family on track.

We’ll also dive into the topic of sexuality. How to talk about sex and how to make sure this vital part of a healthy relationship is an on-going, alive and passionate part of who you are individually and together.
