ONLINE: Spirit in the Song - Songwriting Workshop

Join Grammy nominee and long-time friend of The Haven, Eric Bibb, for an online version of his popular Spirit in The Song program! With kindness and humility, this world-renowned singer-songwriter-guitarist will take you on an inner journey that leads to the birth of a new song. 

Program highlights:  

• Songwriting guidance and feedback from a blues legend 
• Exploration of your inner world through creative expression 
• Opportunities to meet and connect with other aspiring and inspiring songwriters  
• 1-on-1 focus time with Eric Bibb 
• Your choice of instrument(s) from the comfort of your own home  

Experienced songwriters and newcomers welcome! 

Format and schedule: 

This series will be held on Zoom with a blend of small group and private sessions:  

• Saturday, September 12th from 10-11:30am PT.  
• Saturday, September 26th from 10-11:30am PT. 

You’ll be invited to sign up for a private 50-minute session with Eric between the 2 small-group sessions. These 1-on-1s are available weekdays from 10am-9pm in Eric’s time zone (CET).  Contact register@haven.ca with two day/time choices and availability will be confirmed by email.

This online program will be hosted on Zoom, a video conferencing software that is free for participants and easy to use on a variety of devices. You will need to have a device (desktop computer or laptop recommended; tablet or smartphone can work too), reliable internet connection, and sound capabilities (headset recommended; built in or external microphone or speaker systems can work too). You will be invited to join the call up to 15 minutes early to receive technical support.
