Intention and Celebration: New Year at The Haven

For 32 years, it’s been a Haven tradition to celebrate the new year together on Gabriola Island. Join us for personal reflection and group connection in a facilitated 3-day program this December 30th – January 1st.

Take time to reflect and share:

• What did you learn this year?
• What were your challenges? What were your successes?
• What are your intentions and desires for 2026?  

Individual and group activities include:

• Circle sharing and check-ins
• Journaling
• Collaging
• Fun with poetry and performance
• Sound healing with singing bowls
• Choosing a word of the year
• A NYE party in the lodge. Enjoy dancing, late night snacks, and bevvies for toasting!

Outside of program time, you might also enjoy…

• Exploring in nature
• Soaking in the hot tub
• Having a massage or reiki session
• Playing board games in the lodge
• Reading a book from the Haven gift shop
• Enjoying a mug of ginger tea
• Connecting with new and old friends

Program Schedule:

Tuesday, December 30th: 

• Dinner: 6-7pm 
• Evening session: 7-9 pm

Wednesday, December 31st:

• Breakfast: 8-9am
• Morning session: 9am-12pm
• Lunch: 12-1pm
• Afternoon session: 3-6pm
• Dinner: 6-7pm
• Evening session: 8-9pm
• NYE Party: 9pm-12am*

*We’ll count down each hour to celebrate different timezones

Thursday, January 1st:

• Breakfast: 8-9am
• Morning session: 9am-12pm
• Lunch: 12-1pm
